Will there be a shuttle?
There will be a shuttle, running between the Hotel Petaluma and the wedding
site every hour!
What's the parking situation like?
There will be a large field dedicated to parking directly adjacent to the
ceremony and reception, and a dedicated friend enforcing orderly parking
behavior.
What should I wear?
Garden cocktail attire, please! Think summery, colorful, floral, and fun.
Also, Petaluma can get a little chilly at night, so a shawl or light cover-up
would be a wise wardrobe addition for the ladies.
Can I wear heels?
What should I wear?
Absolutely, you can! However, our venue will include grass and uneven terrain,
so plant accordingly. I would recommend avoiding stilettoes or taller heels,
but block heels should work fine.
What will the weather be like?
The climate in Petaluma has a distinctive microclimate that has resulted in our
very own wine AVA known as the Petaluma Gap! A typical summer day will start
cool and crisp, with a blanket of morning fog. By late morning, the sun burns
off the fog and sunshine fills the valley, warming temperatures. By
mid-afternoon cool breezes begin, picking up speed as the afternoon progresses.
By evening, fog will roll through a gap in the nearby coastal mountains
and fill the valley bottoms. There is virtually no chance of rain.
Are children welcome at the wedding?
Yes! We welcome kids at both the ceremony and reception.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes, we plan to have vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free options available.
Please let us know in your RSVP form if you have any dietary restrictions!
